Project Background :

This project started from a common problem faced by design students: long creative tasks often lead to distraction, fatigue, and poor time planning. Based on the Pomodoro method, I designed a mobile app that breaks work into focused sessions and short breaks, helping users complete tasks in a more structured and manageable way.

User Needs :

This project proposes a collection of sharp, angular black prisms, artfully arranged to float against a gradient dark background. By leveraging the interplay of light, shadow, and reflective surfaces, the composition achieves a sense of depth and refinement.

The use of monochromatic black tones ensures a minimalist yet powerful aesthetic, while the geometric forms provide structure and visual interest. This approach allows for versatility, making the visuals suitable for a wide range of modern digital applications.

Design Approach :

The app uses a clean blue visual system to create a calm and focused atmosphere, while warm orange is used for break time. The interface combines task management, focus timer, break timer, calendar planning, and data analysis into one consistent experience. Simple cards, progress rings, and clear buttons help users understand each step quickly.

Final Outcome :

The final design provides a complete productivity flow: users can create tasks, start focus sessions, take breaks, review their schedule, and understand their working habits through data analysis. This project helped me learn how to design from a new user’s perspective and balance visual clarity, usability, and motivation in a productivity app.
